Description
The Profi V board — the largest of the professional line. The format for a kitchen that prepares in batches: a whole tray of vegetables or several portions of meat laid out at once, with no need to clear the board between steps.
Thick and heavy, so it does not move under pressure. The surface is flat and plain, which is what makes a board of this size quick to wash and quick to dry.
Beech, glued up from several lengthwise staves. At this width gluing is not a choice but a requirement — a solid panel would cup within a season of daily washing.
A board this size usually stays on one worktop rather than being carried around. Kitchens leave it in place and work on it all service, which is why the professional line is built heavier than the household one.
