Description
Board TM, 310 × 140 millimetres and 10 millimetres thick. The TM designation marks the thin version of the line: the same footprint as size 2, built at half the thickness.
A thin board is lighter to lift and quicker to dry, which is why it is chosen where the board is carried and washed many times a day rather than left on a bench.
Beech. A ten-millimetre panel is not for cutting through bone — it is for slicing, portioning cooked meat and serving. For heavy work the 19-millimetre boards in the same line are the right choice.
The thin boards are also the ones used for serving, because at 10 millimetres the board does not look like a butchery tool on a table.
