Description
A wooden candlestick 120 millimetres across and 200 tall. Turned on a lathe, so the transitions are soft and symmetrical and the profile repeats up the whole column.
The wide base is what makes it usable: a lit candle has to stand without any chance of tipping, and height without a base underneath it does not.
Beech, turned from solid wood. Turning is what gives the profile — there is no joint and no applied moulding anywhere on the piece.
Candlesticks are given as gifts for housewarmings, weddings and feast days. A laser-engraved name or date is possible; the price depends on the size of the engraving and is agreed beforehand.
