Description
A long serving board 690 × 200 millimetres. The narrow, long format is made for a table where the food runs in a line — cold cuts, cheeses and grissini side by side along the whole board, with no plates in between. Nearly 70 centimetres covers a table for several people.
The panel is beech, glued up from several lengthwise staves, 19 millimetres thick. At this length gluing is the condition for the panel to stay straight — a solid piece would twist at the first change of humidity in the room. The edges are finished and rounded.
Before buying, measure the shelf it will live on, because a panel of nearly 70 centimetres does not fit every kitchen unit. In hospitality it is usually kept on an open shelf or hung on the wall.
Wipe with a damp cloth and dry; do not soak.
