Description
A round wooden bowl 300 millimetres across, with a shallow recess in the middle and a wide flat rim. The middle takes the main thing — nuts, snacks, fruit — while the rim stays free so the bowl can be held from the side without touching the contents.
The 30 millimetre depth is enough to keep the contents in and shallow enough to reach easily. The recess is hollowed from a solid panel with a soft run-out to the rim, so there are no corners where crumbs or moisture could sit.
The wide rim is also where a knife or spoon is set down, so cutlery does not end up on the tablecloth. That is a difference noticed by whoever is serving rather than whoever is eating.
Wash by hand in lukewarm water and wipe dry at once; do not soak and do not use a dishwasher.
