Description
A serving set: one large board 500 × 250 millimetres and two smaller ones 220 × 160 millimetres. The large one carries the main serving, and the two small ones are used as mats, as separate boards for cheese and bread, or arranged beside the large one when serving several people. All three are the same thickness and the same finish.
The panels are beech, glued up from several lengthwise staves, 19 millimetres thick. At these widths a solid piece is not used, because it would warp; glued staves keep the surface flat.
The two small boards can also serve as mats under cups, so the set covers more than one use. Put together with the large one, they make a surface enough for a table of six.
Wash by hand and dry the boards upright, separately.
