Description
A wide paddle-shaped board, 480 × 260 millimetres, with an oval working surface and a short thick handle. The shape is soft and rounded, without sharp corners, so the board sits well both on the table and in the hand. The size takes a pizza, a larger loaf or a shared serving.
The panel is beech, glued up from several lengthwise staves, 19 millimetres thick. The handle is part of the panel and cut together with it, so there is no joint to come apart under load.
At 26 centimetres wide the board covers a good part of the table, so it can serve four people. If it is carried full, take it with both hands rather than by the handle alone.
Wash by hand, wipe dry at once.
