Description
A serving board 570 × 250 millimetres, 15 millimetres thick, with cut-out grips at the sides and a rounded handle at one end. The combination of grips and handle gives three ways to take hold of it, which helps when a full board is carried through a room.
It is made of beech, a glued panel. The lesser thickness reduces the weight at this length, and gluing keeps the surface flat. A shallow channel runs around the rim and holds juices.
At 15 millimetres the panel is lighter but also takes up moisture faster, so it should be wiped immediately after washing rather than left to drain.
Wash by hand; do not soak and do not use a dishwasher.
