Description
An elongated board with rounded ends, 380 × 145 millimetres, with crosswise grooves cut across the whole surface. The grooves catch crumbs: the slices stay on the surface while anything that breaks off falls into the channels instead of scattering over the table.
It is made of beech, glued up from several lengthwise staves, 19 millimetres thick. The grooves are cut into the panel itself, even in depth, and are cleaned with a brush or a dry cloth.
Over time the grooves fill with crumbs that are not visible from above, so the board should be turned over and shaken out now and then. Every few months it is worth running a stiff brush along the channels.
Wash by hand, do not soak; dry thoroughly before putting away.
