Description
A long serving board 500 × 200 millimetres whose handle is cut in the shape of a fork. The detail is not only decorative — the separated prongs serve both as a grip and as a rest when the board is stood upright. Half a metre of length carries a whole platter of cold cuts, a cheese board, or bread cut for the table.
It is made from a beech panel glued up from several lengthwise staves, 19 millimetres thick. The outline is cut from one panel together with the handle, so there are no glued-on parts to give way. The edges are rounded and smooth.
The prongs at the end are the thinnest part, so a full board is not carried by them. They are for picking up an empty board and as a rest when it leans against the counter.
Wash by hand and wipe dry at once.
