Description
A serving board with a metal rail and hooks above the working surface. Whatever is served hanging goes on the hooks — skewers, strips of cured meat, sausages — and the side dish is served below, on the board itself. The panel stands on low feet, so it does not touch the table across its whole face.
The board is beech, glued up from several lengthwise staves, 390 × 300 millimetres. The rounded corners and the 19 millimetre thickness give it the stability needed to carry the weight of the frame and the food. It is meant above all for hospitality, where the way a dish arrives draws guests by itself.
When hanging food, bear the weight in mind — the hooks are meant for skewers and strips of cured meat, not for whole joints. The lower panel meanwhile carries the side dish and catches anything that drips.
Wipe the panel with a damp cloth; dry the metal parts separately.
