Description
A serving board in the shape of a clover, 300 × 300 millimetres, with a drawn-out handle. Three rounded fields and a handle make it usable both as a platter and as a board carried to the table in one hand. The soft lines are gentler than a plain rectangle, so it sits well on a laid table.
The panel is beech, glued up from several staves, 19 millimetres thick. The handle is part of the panel, cut together with the outline, so there is no joint to give way. Beech stands up to daily use and does not take on smells.
The handle lets you lift the board off the table without sliding fingers underneath, which helps when it is full. Because of the shape it is also used as a base for a cake.
Wash by hand in lukewarm water and wipe dry at once.
