Description
An elongated serving board with rounded ends, 400 × 180 millimetres, with a shallow oval recess down the middle. The narrow format is made for the table — it fits between the plates, along the centre, and carries cold cuts, grissini or a piece of cheese.
The panel is beech and glued up from several lengthwise staves, 19 millimetres thick. The recess is hollowed into the panel itself with a soft run-out towards the edge, so it empties and wipes out easily.
The narrow shape also suits service at a bar, where the food is lined up along the edge. Being shallow, the contents are visible from the side, which matters more on a high counter than on a table.
Wash by hand, wipe dry at once; oil from time to time with a wood oil.
