Description
A large serving board 390 × 300 millimetres with rounded corners, a channel around the rim and two small seats in the upper part. The seats take little bowls of sauce, and the rest of the surface stays free for meat, bread or cheese. This is a format for a table of several people — one board carries the whole serving.
It is made of beech, glued up from several staves, 19 millimetres thick. The rim channel is deep enough to hold the juices from a roast, so the board can also replace a plate while meat is being carved.
The two seats are sized for small bowls, so it is worth comparing the diameter of the ones you already have. Bowls wider than about ten centimetres will not drop into the seat and will sit on the surface.
Wash by hand, do not soak; wipe dry at once.
