Description
An oval platter 460 × 280 millimetres with a lengthwise channel down the middle. The channel divides the surface into two zones and catches the juices from a roast, so this shape is most often chosen where meat is carved and served on the same dish.
At 28 centimetres wide it is the largest in the oval range — it takes a whole joint or a shared serving for several people. The edges are rounded and smoothly finished.
The channel holds the juice but does not lead it anywhere, so when carving a roast it is worth putting a napkin under the platter in case of overflow.
Wash by hand, do not soak; wipe dry at once.
