Description

The largest wooden scoop in the range. It takes a bigger quantity at once, so it is used where the work is in kilograms rather than spoonfuls — kneading bread, putting up preserves, bakery work.

A bigger scoop means fewer repetitions and faster work. The handle is long enough that the hand does not go into the sack or the bin it is taken from.

Beech, turned and shaped from solid wood. The larger the scoop, the more the wall thickness matters — a thin bowl at this size would split under a full load of flour.

Bakeries keep one scoop per ingredient rather than washing between uses. Wood is light enough that a full scoop is still handled with one hand.
