Description
A stand with three round boards of different diameters — 180, 240 and 300 millimetres — set one above the other, 360 millimetres high overall. The serving goes upwards instead of outwards, so one stand on the table replaces three separate boards.
The largest board is at the bottom and the smallest on top, so each level can be reached without moving the others. The frame is wooden and comes apart for washing and storage.
All the discs are beech, glued up from several lengthwise staves, 19 millimetres thick. Gluing keeps the discs flat — if they were not flat, the stand would rock. It is used for cakes, fruit and snacks, at parties and in hospitality.
When assembling, put the heaviest things on the largest, lowest board — weight placed high makes the whole stand unstable.
