Description
A small rectangular bowl 160 × 130 millimetres. Somewhat longer than the square one in the same range, so it also takes what does not gather in the hand — grissini broken in half, pieces of cheese, slices of fruit.
The depth is 30 millimetres and the walls upright, so the contents stay in while the dish is carried. The bottom is flat and the bowl stands steady.
The longer shape takes grissini and sticks that will not stand upright in a square dish. For that reason it is chosen where food is served with drinks, rather than only as a seasoning dish.
Wash by hand in lukewarm water and wipe dry at once; do not put it in a dishwasher, where high heat and long soaking dry the wood out.
