Description
A small square bowl 130 × 130 millimetres. The size is for one portion — nuts with a drink, salt and seasoning on the table, olive oil for dipping, or small sweets with coffee.
The 30 millimetre depth keeps the contents in, and the square shape sits well in a row: several of these set side by side replace one large divided bowl.
Small bowls are usually bought in sets of four or six, because only then does the point show — each holds one thing and all of them fit on a single board. Singly they are taken for salt and pepper on the table.
Wash by hand; wipe dry at once and do not soak.
