Description
A serving board with a round working surface and an extension cut in the shape of the map of Serbia. The round part, framed by a cut channel, carries the food, while the map serves both as a handle and as a recognisable detail. The overall size is 520 × 320 millimetres.
The panel is beech, glued up from several lengthwise staves, 19 millimetres thick. The outline is cut from a single glued panel, so the map and the round part are one piece with no joint at the transition. It is chosen by restaurants serving local food, by ethno venues and as a corporate gift.
Because the outline is distinctive, this piece is often put on show even when it is not in use — leaning on a shelf or hung up. For that reason it is worth noting how it looks from the back as well.
Wash by hand and wipe dry at once.
