Description
A narrow, long serving board, 390 × 120 millimetres, with a drawn-out handle and a hole at the end. The format is deliberately narrow — it fits between the plates on a laid table and carries cold cuts, grissini or cheese in a strip, without taking the centre of the table.
It is made of beech, 19 millimetres thick. Because of the small width the board stays stiff and flat, and the handle with its hole lets it hang on a hook when not in use. Beech is dense, does not take on smells and stands up to daily washing.
A narrow board fits in a drawer, which wider ones do not, so it is often kept there — with the cutlery rather than on the worktop. The hole in the handle then serves for pulling it out.
Wash by hand and wipe dry at once.
