Description
A rectangular serving board 300 × 180 millimetres, flat and without dividers, with a shallow channel around the rim. The simplest shape in the range and for that reason the most usable — you cut on it, you serve on it, and it is the one that sits on the worktop every day.
The panel is beech, glued up from several staves, 19 millimetres thick. The rim channel holds juices when meat or fruit is cut. The lighter and darker bands across the surface are the staves the panel is made of.
Because it carries nothing that ties it to one use, this board usually ends up doing everything in the house. For that reason it is worth taking two — one for meat, one for bread and vegetables.
Do not soak and do not wash in a dishwasher; oil it from time to time.
