Description
Thirty-five centimetres of rotating serving surface. The board spins on a base, so a full selection can be set out once and reached from every seat without anything being lifted.
The base is hidden under the board; what is seen is a plain beech circle. The surface is flat throughout, with no compartments, so bowls and sections are arranged as the table requires.
Beech, glued up from several lengthwise staves. The top must stay flat or the rotation goes stiff — gluing from staves is what keeps a panel of this width true.
At 35 centimetres the board takes several small bowls at once: dips, olives, nuts. Turning it is quieter and safer than passing bowls across a set table.
