Description
An oval serving platter 350 × 250 millimetres, with a shallow recess and a darker finished edge. The shape is close to a classic plate, but in wood — it is brought out as the dish for one course or as a base for a shared serving.
The recess is shallow and runs softly into the rim, with no lip to hold leftovers. The depth is enough to keep juices in, and the platter stays low and easy to read.
A wooden platter does not go in an oven or a microwave — the food is brought out ready and the platter serves for presentation. For a hot dish it is best at room temperature, so the difference is not too great.
Wash by hand and wipe dry at once.
