Description
An oval bowl 345 × 180 millimetres with a shallow trough. The middle size in the oval range — large enough not to feel cramped, small enough to fit on a laid table beside the plates.
The trough follows the outer outline and is hollowed to the full 30 millimetre depth. The run-out to the rim is soft, with no lip to catch leftovers.
The middle size is usually the one bought first — large enough to be useful, small enough to keep in a cupboard. Bigger oval bowls are generally added later, once the need shows.
Wash by hand; oil from time to time, which deepens the colour and makes the surface more resistant to moisture.
