Description
A wooden knife block, 200 × 100 millimetres and 70 tall. The knives stand in slots with the blade hidden in the wood, so the edge is not blunted by contact with other utensils in a drawer.
A knife kept in a block also keeps its edge longer because nothing touches it. That is the reason a block exists rather than simply being tidier than a drawer.
