Description
A board 300 × 200 millimetres with a round opening at one end. The opening serves for hanging on a hook and for taking hold when the board is lifted — two things in one, with no added handle to increase the size.
The working surface is flat and without a channel, so both faces are usable. The format is the classic kitchen one, for everyday cutting and serving.
The panel is beech, glued up from several lengthwise staves, 19 millimetres thick. Beech is dense, does not take on smells and stands up to washing.
Without a channel the board is easier to clean — there are no corners for leftovers to gather in. That is why it is chosen by those who use it several times a day and wash it after each use.
