Description
A board in the shape of a fir tree, 350 × 245 millimetres — the larger size in the same range. The bigger surface takes a whole holiday serving: small cakes, cheese, cured meats and nuts on one piece.
The outline is cut from a beech panel 19 millimetres thick after gluing, so the branches run across all the staves. The board stands flat on the table and is used like any other.
Beech is hard and does not take on smells, so the board is not seasonal only in shape — it is used all year round.
At 35 centimetres tall it may not fit a kitchen cupboard, so check the shelf before putting it away. Wash by hand and wipe dry, without soaking.
