Description
A rectangular bowl 300 × 200 millimetres with a shallow trough and a raised rim. A narrower format than the square ones — it fits between the plates on a laid table or on a counter, and takes enough for two to four people.
The trough is hollowed to the full 30 millimetre depth, with a soft run-out to the edge, so it empties and wipes out easily. The outer edges are rounded and pleasant in the hand.
The rectangular form fits on a worktop beside the stove, where a round one takes too much room. For that reason it is often used as the dish that holds chopped vegetables during cooking.
Wash by hand, wipe dry at once; oil from time to time.
