Description
An elongated bowl 400 × 180 millimetres divided into two fields. One field carries the main serving, the other what goes with it — a sauce, a side or another kind of snack. The lengthwise division keeps it easy to read even when it stands in the middle of the table.
Both fields are hollowed to the full 30 millimetre depth with rounded bottoms, so they empty and wipe out easily. The divider is part of the panel and does not come away in time.
The lengthwise division lets one field hold something warm and the other something cold — roasted vegetables and fresh cheese, for instance. Wood does not carry heat between the fields the way metal would.
Wash by hand; oil from time to time, which deepens the colour and protects the surface.
