Description
A serving board with a stand, size V — the largest of the three. Takes a full platter: a cold cuts selection, several cheeses with accompaniments, or a shared main for a table of six.
The stand raises the whole surface, so the board is seen from across the table. The board comes off the stand and is used flat as well.
Beech, glued up from several lengthwise staves. At this width a single piece is impossible — it would warp and split, because wood moves across the grain. Gluing is what keeps the surface flat.
Size V is bought for a buffet, where one board has to hold the whole selection. Raised, it stays reachable from both sides of the table.
