Description
A serving board with a stand, size S — the smallest of the three. Suited to a single dish, a small cheese selection or an appetiser for two, where a big board would look empty.
The board lifts off the stand, so one piece covers two uses: raised presentation and a flat board on the table. Both parts are beech and finished in the same way.
Beech, glued up from several lengthwise staves, so the panel stays flat. Width over 12 centimetres rules out a single piece — it would warp and split.
Size S is chosen for a bar counter, where depth is short and a long board does not fit. On it an appetiser stands at eye level rather than flat on the counter.
