Description
A serving board with its own stand — the board sits raised above the table, so the dish is in sight and plates can go underneath. Size M is the middle of the range, enough for one serving course or a cheese selection for four.
The stand is separate from the board, so the board is used on its own when a flat surface is needed. The two parts are stored together and the stand takes little room.
Beech, glued up from several lengthwise staves. A board this wide cannot be made from one piece — a solid panel would warp, since wood moves across the grain. The glued panel stays flat through years of use.
Raising the board frees the table surface under it, which matters on a full table. Caterers use it to lift one course above the rest, so it reads as the main dish.
