Description
Six hundred millimetres across, raised on a stand — the largest raised board made. It is used where a whole presentation has to be lifted above the table: a wedding cake, a tiered display, a full charcuterie spread.
The board lifts off the stand, so it also serves as the largest flat round board in the range. The stand carries the load at the centre, under the board.
Beech, glued up from several lengthwise staves, 19 millimetres thick. At 60 centimetres a solid panel is impossible — it would warp and split, and on a central stand even slight cupping makes the board rock.
A board of this size is set in place empty and loaded afterwards. Once filled it is not moved, which is why venues position it before the guests arrive.
