Description
A board 490 × 145 millimetres with two separate rectangular bowls standing on it. The bowls lift out and are washed on their own, while the board stays free for whatever is dipped into them — grissini, bread, vegetables.
The narrow, long form is set along the centre of the table or on a counter, so everyone can reach it. The bowls are 30 millimetres deep and do not slide, because they sit in their own seats.
The board and the bowls are beech. The board is glued up from several lengthwise staves, because a solid piece of that length would warp. Beech does not take on smells and does not absorb fat, so the set serves both savoury and sweet.
Take the bowls out before washing the board and wash them separately; water sits in the seats. Put them back only when both are completely dry.
