Description
A round board 300 millimetres across with slots for four glasses and an opening for a bottle, on legs 160 millimetres high. Push it into the grass or set it on a level surface and it becomes a small wine table — the glasses sit in their slots and do not tip.
The slots are cut from the side, so a glass drops in base-down and hangs by its stem. The opening in the middle takes the bottle and holds it upright.
The board is beech, glued up from several lengthwise staves, 19 millimetres thick; the legs fold for carrying. It is meant for picnics, the garden and wine tastings outdoors, and is often bought as a gift.
The legs push into grass or soft ground, so this is above all a table for the lawn. On a hard surface it stands as a low table, but check that all three points make contact.
