Description
A small board cut to the shape of an apple, with a short stem that works as a handle and a hanging point. The format suits one portion — a slice of cake, cheese with crackers, or a child’s snack.
The round outline has no corners, so nothing catches on the edge and the board is easy to wipe. The stem is thick enough to hold without being in the way of the knife.
Beech, a hard and close-grained wood that does not take on smells. Wash by hand in lukewarm water and wipe dry at once; do not soak and do not put in the dishwasher.
Boards in fruit shapes are bought in pairs with the pear board — hung side by side on a kitchen wall they read as a set, and each is taken down as needed.
